We finally got our first night together in the room with Julia the night before we were discharged from the hospital. I guess they wanted to make sure that they could let us take this precious baby home and be able to take care of her! I can't believe they trust us that much.... The drive home was surreal. I can't believe we are taking this baby home. John had to stop and grab some caffeine after nearly falling asleep on the road. I was too busy staring at Julia in the backseat to even care that he was asleep at the wheel.
